Fine sanded for stain or paint. Pine can have varying degrees of porosity which can result in a patchy effect if cheap stains are badly applied. Consult your decorators merchant to avoid disappointment.
“Clear” Pine and “Knotty” Pine doors are not guaranteed for use in new building construction or in generally damp conditions. Doors are kiln dried to a low moisture content suitable for centrally heated conditions.
